The Project Manager must be able to write letters and technical reports in easy to understand language, which is difficult to do with complex technical reports. The Project Manager must be able to lead and inspire a group of talented engineers and support staff. The Project Manager we seek must be a registered professional engineer who can quickly review engineering work products, roadway or bridge, plans specifications and estimate or reports, find all the problems and have them corrected before the document is submitted. The candidate must have the ability to train staff and our clients when necessary in the finer points of engineering. He or she must have the management and communication skills necessary to successfully obtain and complete projects. This position is full time, exempt and will be eligible for full company benefits. Please email resume to Senior Civil Design EngineerThe Folsom office of Dokken Engineering is currently looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have the experience, ability and desire to lead a team of Assistant Engineers and Technician in the design of transportation improvement projects including freeway interchanges, roadway extension and widening, railroad grade separations, bridge replacements & retrofits, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, transit centers and parking facilities. The candidate must be familiar with Caltrans Standards for design. The candidate must be able to effectively work with staff, maintain positive relationships with clients, and will assist the project manager in delivering projects on-budget and on-schedule. Extensive knowledge of and ability to use Microstation (V8 XM), InRoads, Autoturn, MS Office Suite including MS Project. Knowledge of HEC-RAS, StormCAD, Culvert Master and Flow Master are helpful, but not required. Requirements include:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced structural design engineer and have the experience, ability and desire to manage and provide design engineering for projects including bridges, retaining wall and hydraulic structures. The candidate must be able to effectively work with staff, maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients, agencies, and other consultants. The candidate must be able to prepare a variety of technical structural engineering studies, reports, and improvements. Extensive knowledge of and ability to use the following software programs: SAP2000, LEAP, CT Bridge, MathCAD, Enercalc, Microstation, and the MS Office Suite of programs. Requirements include:
Salary DOE If you feel you meet these qualifications, please submit your resume to Associate/Senior Geotechnical EngineerThe ideal candidate must be a registered professional engineer (civil or geotechnical) with between 6 to 12 years of relevant geotechnical experience. A master’s level degree is preferred but not required. Must be proficient in soil mechanics (site investigations, shallow and deep foundation engineering, slope stability, earthworks construction and support systems) and seismic engineering. Must also be able to work on a mix of small to large projects in the transportation (highways and transit sectors) and urban infrastructure. Must be comfortable working in multi disciplinary project teams and be able to balance practically with state of the art solutions, be familiar with Caltrans and local agency practices, and actively participate in and contribute to relevant professional organizations to maintain and raise personal and corporate profiles. Must have excellent oral and written communication proficiencies, possess strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, clients and potential clients, and must have strong initiative skills. Must be proficient with the following software: LPILE, SHAFT, SLOPE/W, SIGMA/W, GROUP, FB-MULITPER, DRIVEN, GRLWEAP, LIQUEFYPRO, MSWORD, EXCEL, and MICROSTATION. This position also requires the applicant to have a good sense of humor. Salary range between $80,000 to $130,000/year. Signing bonus dependent on experience.
